Bike Skills Groups
Little Riders (Ages 1-6 years)
Term 1 2026
We are so excited to announce our Little Riders Group at the new Road Safety Centre!
Places are very limited for this small group program.
New families are welcome! All children under age 1-6years with all riding and developmental abilites are also welcome.
Jump into Tasmania's vibrant bike culture with the perfect head start. We know that if a child can walk independently, they can learn to ride a bike—and our Little Riders groups make it happen.
Our program combines expert child development knowledge with a genuine love for riding. We use motor learning approaches that build fundamental skills for riding in a safe, fun and supported environment. We know that children learn riding skills much faster when they are surrounded by other children who are also learning. This group will provide your child with the perfect foundation of skills, confidence and enjoyment for riding.
The group will also provide:
- sensory and regulation activities
- withdrawal spaces
- social games
- break times for rest, food and regulation
Let us help your little one develop a lifelong passion for two-wheeled adventures.
When: Weekly sessions starting Monday, February 9th
Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (excluding public holidays)
Location: Bike Safety Centre, South Launceston
Cost: $50 per session (7 sessions full-term enrolment $350 required)
You will be contacted for intake after completing this form.
