Occupational Thearpy
Occupational Therapy
Amanda provides individualised occupational therapy for children and young people, with a focus on helping them participate in the everyday activities that matter to them and their families.
Occupational therapy can support children with everyday skills such as:
self-care, including dressing, toileting, eating and personal hygiene
sleep and daily routines
play and social participation
emotional regulation and felt safety
sensory processing and sensory differences
attention, learning and school readiness
motor skills and coordination
independence at home and in the community
developing functional life skills
equipment and environmental modifications.
Amanda takes a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach, working alongside children, young people and their families to understand what is getting in the way of participation and find practical ways forward.
Therapy is provided in the environments where children live, learn and play — including home, school, childcare and the community — helping skills and strategies become meaningful and useful in everyday life.
Amanda is currently accepting referrals from schools and private clients (non NDIS). If you would like to self-refer please contact us by clicking the button below.
